Why To Start Using Creams On Your 20's

My mom has always said to me that one of the best investments a women should do is to spend on good creams... I can tell why she is right. Establishing a skin care routine is very important as the skin is our body's largest organ and furthermore because our skin sheds itself daily! Personally, I think that is never too late to start getting conscious on your routine, prevention is a lot easier as it takes us less time and money than having to see a dermatologist or a surgeon.

Since a couple of weeks ago, I began using Origins products. To be honest, I still feel happy about receiving this box especially now as it started to feel colder, it's essential to take care of our cutis during these times of the year as our skin tends to get very dry. The first product I unboxed was the Peppermint Spot Relief, I recommend using this one on the neck and forehead after having a long day, the sensation this product provides I got to say is very relaxing.

Now talking about a good moisturizer, I admit that I have tried many other creams before, but for this High-Potency Night-A-Mins, no kidding is totally different! I adore this renewal cream as it contains Vitamin C, E and H as also moisture-rich which is great when you are sleeping. To be sincere, the orange smell is great as it is calming but furthermore the soft texture of my skin in the morning after I wash my face is amazing!

For exfoliation, I started doing it weekly, I decided to choose Mondays as on weekends I expose my face to long hours using makeup. The Clear Improvement is a powder to clear pores as it's water active it turns into a creamy effervescent cleanser. I like to leave it for 2 minutes because is more like a mask-exfoliating product.

Till Next Year Summer!

In a sunny and beautiful tuesday afternoon, I decided to went out with a white blazer and a pair of white jeans, I matched it with a gold top, I got to say that the fabric of this blouse is outstanding because of it's unique color.. to me that's what makes the total look with the gold accent of the accessories, I opted for an all white combo so the detail of the blouse and the fabric could be more even.

It's a little bit sad to say that Summer is over now, going out with only a blazer and not a thick coat was kind of great! Now it's time to get along with the fall season weather and the chic layered outfits, my favorite!

Hasta la vista

Perfect Curls & Healthy Hair

Due to the constant use of the hair straightener and curler, I'm always looking for new ways of treating my hair better.

An important factor to consider is to use the right shampoo for your hair type. From what I have read and what it works for me, I recommend to buy a shampoo that comes without salt, the ones that you see normally in the supermarket makes your hair super dry. Always try to look for those that will not harm your hair! another tip I have discovered is to change your shampoo at least every 2 months because your hair gets used to the same components.

Another thing I love doing is to apply a hair treatment at least once per week. This will help your hair in so many ways! Consider this more like a deep conditioner, the reason why I love this so much is that it helps to keep the hair stronger, much healthier and shiny. I usually buy the ones that hydrate and repair the hair, but if I have time I love to make them at home with natural elements like coconut oil & avocado.

Whenever I'm going to curl my hair, I like using products that will make my waves thicker, I recently purchased the L'oreal Mousse, I recommend this one for loose waves, if you are more into well-done curls, you should get an extra strong hold hairspray. It will make your curls to last longer.

Lastly, to give a beautiful shine to my hair I love using the Argan oil from OGX. As I have mentioned  before, I love the final glimpse it gives to my hair as well as making it easy to manage.

Basic And Elegant Pieces To Include In Your Wardrobe

Walking around Vancouver is one of my favorite activities since I got here, the weather now is so perfect that I never want to spend out a sunny day at home when I have the opportunity to go out and embrace this beautiful city. This kind of happiness has always inspired me to be creative whenever I get dressed.
Right now, I feel like I'm always hunting for incredible details that I never get to see in regular stores.

Bringing exclusive pieces is one of the things I enjoy the most of being a blogger and of course to inspire many women to find a style they love, but mostly, to feel comfortable in their own skin.

Personally, I think there's no better therapy, like dedicating time to dress and do what we like. Treating and spoiling ourselves is so important and I'm always going to talk about it, it will inspire us to do things for ourselves, rather than for someone else.

Today, I want it to show you guys how to match basic & elegant pieces together to create a great outfit. First, I would say, if you are going to keep things simple, as I did with this outfit, try to work more on the accessories like your jewelry, purse, and shoes. For seasons like fall or winter, we can try to pull a cute scarf too.

When I got these pair of heels, I was amazed, because I didn't think they will look much better in person than when I picked them online. I got these heels from Zaful, the embroidered details I would say is my favorite thing, plus they are perfect for an evening and also for the day to day. As I was wearing culottes, I felt this was the perfect opportunity to showcase them as they deserved.

At the same time, I decided to pair this elegant purse from Julia Kays. The nude color makes this bag versatile to wear and even more, the size is perfect! I love that I can fit anything in there, even my computer and lunch at the same time! You guys cannot see, but inside of the purse I was carrying so much things. Looks very sophisticated from the outside, but what it really made me fell in love is how practical this tote bag is.

Lastly, Jewelry! This top is very simple so I decided to add a little sparkle with this crystal necklace from Pairie. Getting dressed should be always something fun, make you feel prettier everyday, but mostly, yourself.
