Trends This Fall: All About Neutrals

I had the chance to assist to Aimee Song's Fall Trend event last Sunday and I got to tell you guys that the major trend for this Fall is all in Neutrals.
Brown, nude, camel and white are the 4 main colors that you guys will see a lot in this season, the same goes with accessories, and let's not forget about the boots.
If you wanted to purchase any snake print-related last year this is the time to do it because they are coming back!
We will see many high knee boots in this print as also flat boots and don't forget about sneakers, they will be trending as well.

Another recommendation for this and any season is to buy the essential colors, this will make you save not only money but also time, white looks good with everything and this coat speaks Fall for itself, I also tried to mix my accessories accordingly with the season, I recently got the most beautiful bag from Forzieri, it is perfect for the season and they also have all kind of designer bags, including Moschino, Gucci, YSL, etc... it was really hard to pick this one because they have so many options on their website.

In case you are still wondering what to shop for the Fall, I'm linking my recommendations down below

I Customized This Jumpsuit Online and This Is What Happened

You guys know how much I love a white look.
Neutrals are always a thing to me and this jumpsuit was so easy to style, it is very elegant, versatile, and the trousers are amazing, the length and style make you look taller and the accessories are always a plus.
I was heading to an event that day, I wanted to look elegant but I also wanted to feel comfortable, I got to change my shoes after, but this was definitely a good choice considering that this jumpsuit stretches a lot so it was easy for me to move, sit down and do all my daily tasks properly without any difficulty.
Nowadays, buying online is one of the best things, honestly, I have found so many good things on websites lately and I really feel the need to share with you guys this brand because you are able to customize all the things you pick and this is how I got this jumpsuit the way I wanted, I choose the cleavage, sleeves and the length on the trousers in Eshakti
I also want to share similar options to get this look:

Polka Dots, The Latest Fashion Trend

We all know Monochrome Polka Dots...
The trend that keeps coming back year after year.
I can perfectly remember when my mom used to wear the classic top /skirt polka dot combo and it's crazy because the story is repeating now haha, in a different decade.
I would describe Polka dots like the je ne sais quoi in Fashion... keeps repeating and we all keep loving it and we don't know why.
I honestly love to play in between to mix and match between other colors and patterns, even my lipstick.
If you love Polka Dots as much as I do make sure to follow this slide plus I'm also sharing this classic outfit idea that you can easily wear for work/brunch/dinner.

Places to Have a Good Cup of Coffee in Vancouver

As a proud Colombian, Coffee for me is one of the main things that I need to get every day before getting things done.
In a city like Vancouver, coffee places are so popular. I've seen a lot of people that make this their workplace so here are my favorite spots not only for their coffee but for space, service, and quality overall.

Very calm place, great breakfast, and amazing coffee.
Located inside the JW Marriot Parq
Address: 39 Smithe St, Vancouver, BC.

2. Dalina
They have opened different locations around the city.
They have great sandwiches and a good variety of healthy snacks.
The place itself is great, easy to chat and work inside.
Their main location is at 687 Main St, Vancouver B.C

I personally love this place because it reminds me of the coffee shops in France.
This place is always so busy because their menu is incredible.
Love their coffee and their marble tables.
They are located in 4393 St. George St, Vancouver, B.C

This is one of the newest coffee shops in Vancouver.
I would say that this place is more likely to hang out with friends when you want to chat and have coffee + treats.
They play Latin music inside and it's amazing, love the vibe and also is perfect for pictures.
Their bread is homemade, so good.
Location 1399 Commercial Dr. Vancouver, B.C

This place is honestly incredible, they have a great variety of coffees.
I've worked and I've also had brunch a couple of times here and it never disappoints.
Is always very busy, most like in the mornings.

They have two locations: One in Yaletown, 1088 Homer St, Vancouver, B.C
The other one is in the South of Granville (newest point) 3070 Granville St, Vancouver, B.C

I enjoy stopping by this place a lot because I love seating outdoors especially in the Summer.
I love to get the almond latte in size Large and it's always so good.
Is a great place to eat, chat and also for work.
Location 769 Hornby St, Vancouver, B.C

Best Moisturizers, For Day and Night

Searching for a good moisturizer is no easy thing especially if we consider the fact that we all have different types of skin.
I have to say that I've been in this search for quite a long time now and I finally can say that I have found my two favorite ones.

What main aspects you need to consider when picking one?
First, evaluate your skin type. I have combination skin which is not oily or dry, is just normal. It also depends on the season, these two products are mainly for Summer.
Second, I like to split my skincare for day and night.
I hate to apply thick creams during the day as I also apply SPF so I try to avoid to mix oily things together... its all about balance.

Honestly, I started using the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel since I was 17, although I stopped using it for a while because I wanted to give a try to other moisturizers out there, but I got back to this one a year ago as I really love the way it leaves my skin during the day.

I have heard that many people love to use this one for the night as well, but I like to use something with deeper hydration and that's why I love using the Darphih Hydraskin Light Cream

This Darphin cream is light as well but I feel it's way more oily and perfect for the night routine as I complement it with a Vitamin C serum and the Essential Oils from Darphin too.

Last year I had an Acné phase that lasted me about 6 months and this is when I got back to this cream because I felt the other moisturizers were too oily for my condition so if you are going through this I recommend the Clinique cream but not the Darphin one.

Finding these two products is very easy, they are available in many drug stores and other stores like Sephora.

Summer Essentials, What I Like To Keep Inside My Bag

With beach days calling, I want to share some of the few things that I like to keep inside my bag these days.

There are 5 main things for me:
1. A good Sunscreen, I feel this is the #1 essential.
I started using Neutrogena Hydro Boost since last year and it has been the best sunscreen because is not greasy, doesn't have any smell and it also helps to hydrate your skin, is really amazing.

2. My one and only wave spray from The Ouai
Keeps my effortless waves on fleek.

3. A good Hair Pin to avoid having all the hair in my face.
I got a really nice combo in Amazon here is the link: Amazon Hair Pins
I'm also linking more in the shop box down below.

4. My monthly scent from Skylar
I always love to keep one bottle inside my bag.
Receiving these seasonal fragrances is so on point, the size is so practical that they travel with my everywhere.
5. The Anti-Frizz Sheets from The Ouai
These sheets are lifesavers, the fact that I can take one sheet with me whenever I feel that my hair is getting frizzy is amazing, I don't need any iron machine in my bag because this little thing gets the job done in seconds.

One Item, Two Different Looks

Have you guys noticed how The Snake Print trend has risen since last year?
I got to be honest with you guys I love the print but I won't ever buy any real snake good, I only stick with the print.

Overall, I love the way this print accentuates an entire look, I'm so passionate about neutrals,  I played a lot between the white and black tones here but hold on... this outfit is not what you all think it is.. this is not just a top and a skirt.
The "blouse" you are seeing here is actually a dress and I decided to style it as a top to give you guys two different perspectives and ideas on how to wear the exact same item in two different ways for the Summer Season.

I got this dress from Shein last year for my vacations in Colombia and I only wore it once because when I came back was winter time so it was definitely impossible.
I thought of giving this dress a total makeover, I changed everything, I opened two of the buttons to make it wider, I styled the sleeves totally different and then I played a lot with mixing different accessories, I made it more classy this time, the dress itself is a bit more casual, so here you have 2 styles, 2 different occasions.

The Actual Dress

2 styles, 2 different occasions.

Denim Skirts to Wear this Summer

Who doesn't love a good basic piece to mix and match multiple times?
If there is something that never changes when I'm deciding what to wear and is to start from a basic piece, in this case, the skirt.  Honestly, this tip has made me safe so much time! is easier if you to start planning with the basic/neutral items you have inside your wardrobe.
I got this skirt from a new Canadian brand called Finding July, I have other items from them and I honestly love the L.A. vibe, I'm so glad that a brand like opened in a city like Vancouver because it was much needed, we already have enough with the leggings and sweat pants brands.

A fun fact is that this top and sunglasses actually belong to my boyfriend.
I wanted to give a little spike to the blog and just experiencing new things related to fashion to demonstrate that it's all about having fun and try new things.

Getting back to it, a denim skirt is a good item to pair with anything, it gives me the chance to choose how am I going to elevate my look, either with accessories, a top, shoes or just creating a nice balance between all of these. Click through to pictures down below
